People think i’m so mature but like literally off court like off camera i i’m so goofy out of the court she’s a happy person she’s open she has a lot of friends she has two younger brothers that keeps her and knocks her down and put her in check coco really loves the holidays she just loves the downtime she loves family and traditions and that’s just who she is i met her at 10 she came to my tennis academy to make tests to be possibly taken into my program and i discovered someone who was special someone very driven someone very competitive she did dancing she did gymnastics she did soccer and tennis was right there but it’s one of those things she had to fall in love with the sport and when she fell in love with the sport boom we had him i go by coco because my dad’s name is corey and i don’t want to be called the same thing as him when people say corey is going to think that they’re cheering for him feels good to be recognized yeah i feel good for her i’m just proud of the moment to you know give herself a situation in a situation where she can play another match in the grand slam so that’s that’s pretty exciting i think the parents are really committed since she’s young they did everything for her to succeed they’re following her dream yeah you know mr williams talked about his plan for his girls and he believed in it and went after it and you know some of the things that that would happen on the tour that were you know the tour’s probably not that proud of that they had to go through to kind of remove those options out of the way and clear the path for other girls to be able to go down that path one of the things that we just try to do is just tell her to be grateful be humble we have a core group of people we have family we have friends we have my parents but many when they finish they call they facetime me and you see the they’re jumping around they’re screaming and my mom is shouting and it’s she’s just so passionate my mom is so passionate you see professional players sometimes not being able to handle pressure she’s 15 and she has huge pressure the way she handles that is really amazing i do see her being a grand slam champion multiple times i’m just super shocked and proud of myself i’m just so thankful that wimbledon and the organization just gave me an opportunity to play you
