You’re getting to be a big boy, and I’m just a kid who’s growing every day. I enjoy exploring and discovering new things. Each day brings something exciting, and I’m happy to share my experiences with you. My world is constantly changing, and with the guidance of my mommy and daddy, I’m finding my way. Growing up has its challenges, but there’s also plenty of fun to be had.
Now, let’s dive into a story. This particular story takes us back to when Caillou was three years old. It’s called “Caillou in the Bathtub.”
One day, it was bath time for Caillou, and his mommy called him to come and take his bath. Caillou wasn’t too thrilled about the idea of taking a bath and tried to avoid it. But his mommy was serious and insisted that it was time for him to get clean.
Caillou didn’t want to comply and decided to hide. His mommy wondered where he could be and went on a search for him. Finally, she found him and reminded him that it was bath time. Caillou still resisted, complaining that the water was either too hot or too cold.
His mommy wasn’t going to let him get away with it and told him that he couldn’t go and play. It was bath time, and he needed to keep clean. Caillou still wasn’t convinced that being clean was any fun.
To make the bath more enjoyable, his mommy suggested adding some bubble bath. Caillou agreed, thinking that it couldn’t hurt. His mommy created funny bubbles and asked Caillou to give her his hand. Caillou was intrigued and thought it looked like fun.
Suddenly, Caillou remembered that he had left his rubber ducky in his little sister Rosie’s room. He quickly went to retrieve it, but his mommy called after him, telling him not to make a mess. Caillou returned with his ducky and joined his mommy in the bath.
With lots of bubbles and the presence of his ducky, Caillou realized that bath time could also be playtime. He discovered how to make bubbles and had a great time splashing around. Caillou even made a game of hiding and reappearing in the water.
When it was time to get dried off, Caillou didn’t want to leave the bath. He wanted to continue playing. His mommy explained that he could play in the bath again tomorrow, and Caillou was thrilled at the idea of more bath time adventures with his ducky and lots of bubbles.
And that’s how Caillou learned to love bath time.
